BARHD has become part of RCHE’s educational community over the past 17 years, partnering with its Headmasters and the PTA to construct badly needed facilities on campus. Together we have built the following:
- Girls’ dormitory, 2009
- Four-classroom block, 2011
- Boys’ dormitory, 2012
- Boys’ dormitory, 2014
- Four-classroom block, 2017
- Girls’ dormitory, 2018
But there is much to be done. Some classrooms at Ryakasinga are incomplete and still need floors and windows. More classrooms are needed as there are often as many as 90 students in one room. BARHD is working with the school administration and the PTA to improve these conditions as funds become available.
